Value of knowing who we are
Ullam perum kovil
Unnadavar maha jnani
The mind is a temple
The one who knows is learned
When we know who we are, we will know the value of money, power, and position. If we don’t know our true nature, these three things are meaningless. The value comes when we learn to respect them as a valuable resource given to us, so we may do some good with them.
We come with nothing, but we leave with the name we have earned. It takes a lot of sacrifices and hard work to earn a good name. Good thoughts come as an aid. Always maintain good thoughts and feelings. Knowledge will then automatically follow. One way to keep the mind full of good thoughts is to be with nature, admire and offer it our gratitude. If we are always smiling, the mind will relax and it becomes easier to harbor good thoughts. Initially, the smile may be forced, but with effort, it becomes natural. A smile sends a positive signal to the mind.
Time is gold. We should make constant efforts to realize who we are. Life is not permanent. Death can come at any time. Do not postpone anything for tomorrow. It is not guaranteed. If we don’t realize this and we say we are suffering, where does the fault lie?
Blessings to all
