Importance of sharing knowledge
Rain may fall on a remote mountain-top, but through streams and rivers, that water may ultimately find its way to the sea. Until water flows into the sea, it never ceases to offer benefits to us in various forms. When water becomes available for our use, where it comes from does not become important. We are glad it is there for our use.
Like water that flows from one place to another, humans are born in one place, may grow up and study in another location, and works and finally retires in a different place. Where we live is not important, as long as we continue to contribute. Knowledge should be given importance. It is the only thing that remains. Caste, language, state, country, and other such differences will disappear when there is knowledge that is valuable to the world.
We cannot assign value to knowledge. We may underestimate the value of water, but when we are thirsty, we realize its importance. Similarly, we cannot underestimate anybody. We cannot say who has what hidden knowledge. We should try to encourage people to develop whatever knowledge they may have and share its fruits with the world.
Whatever the field of study or the place of birth, the one who keeps contributing will one day definitely reach the top. If all people contribute their knowledge and those contributions and managed and used wisely, our country will prosper and one day will be at the top of the community of nations. Knowledge is power.
We can buy books but not knowledge, it has to be earned the hard way. We can go to the temple and pray, but we cannot get liberation easily. We can buy books but we cannot buy a high honor such as the Nobel Prize. With money we can buy everything, but not the love of our parents. Work hard, keep trying and share whatever knowledge you have gained. Don’t accumulate it for the future. Share it today.
Blessings to all
