Life is the greatest asset.
The greatest asset existence can give us is our life. It is up to each individual to understand the value of this asset. People may consider themselves as poor, but they forget the body and the mind which they possess, the value of which is incalculable. We have not one, but two eyes. Two eyes are meant to enhance binocular vision, but we use it to look at life as positive or negative. To a negative person, a mountain may be considered as a wasteland. To a positive person, the same mountain will appear as beautiful scenery. In this way, we are blessed with two hands, two feet, and two kidneys. All the money in the world cannot equal the value of a single organ in the body. The body and the mind come as gifts freely given by God.
There are reports of frogs living for long periods of time entombed within stones. More commonly, inside a hermetically sealed eggshell, a life form grows. These phenomena are indeed miraculous if we think deeply about them. It is clear that God provides every living entity with nourishment directly or indirectly. Similarly, the life principle working within our bodies enabling it to grow is equally miraculous.
Almost all parents wish well for their children and would love to see them prosper in life. However, if children take to bad habits may not be the fault of the parents. Similarly, God is continually blessing all living entities. If we misuse this gift of life, it is our fault, not the fault of God.
Everyone expects quick results. But the reality is different. We may fail many times in our endeavors but if we persevere by thinking and acting in the right manner, we will eventually succeed. The root of success is failure. Once we know the basics, we can master the rest. It may take time and effort, but it can be done. For example, once we learn the alphabet of a language, such as English (a,b,c, etc.) it becomes easy to construct sentences. From the simplest to the most complex sentences, all have the same 26 letters to pick from.
Life is like a beautiful flower garden. Each individual is like a flower. We can enhance the beauty of the surroundings using flowers. Similarly, people add beauty to the world. How we cultivate people determines the ‘fragrance’ of life. Our aim should be to help remove negativity from people and instill positivity.
Not all trees in a forest have the same value. For example, consider a sandalwood tree, a teakwood tree, and an apple tree. Of these three trees, sandalwood has the most value, followed by teakwood. Some people are valuable to the world and may be compared to a sandalwood tree. Besides these three trees, there are numerous other trees in a forest, the wood of which may not have that much value. God has created all types of trees. It is up to us to identify which is which. Some trees produce poisonous fruits, others produce edible fruits. We have been given the intelligence to discriminate between the two. Similarly, we can also discriminate between good and bad people. Good people who are of value to the world should be cared for by the population and given all encouragement and motivation. Only then can we make life a grand success not just for ourselves but for the entirety of humanity.
Blessings to all
