Where can God easily be found?
We work for money and comforts. This is alright as long as it does not exceed a certain limit. But just as any habit that is difficult to control, we do not stop accumulating money or enjoying comforts. This builds ego and we start to feel that we are special. We then look to God with a feeling of “I want more”. In reality, God does not stay where money accumulates and remains stagnant. It is one thing if that money comes from legitimate sources but the many of the people who have money to excess have obtained them through ill-gotten means. Wealth derived from such means melts away very quickly. It may bring temporary happiness to the one who holds that wealth, but everything around that person will eventually crumble. There will be no peace in the mind of such people.
Those who work hard will be suitably rewarded. It may not necessarily be in the form of material wealth, but it will surely be in the form of peace of mind. God stands in front of those who work hard. It can be any kind of work as long as we accept the work given to us with gratitude and carry it out to our fullest capacity. There is no need for yoga, meditation or even going to temples and praying for those who work sincerely and work hard without wasting even a single minute. Hard work can even prevent diseases by keeping the mind constantly occupied. An idle mind starts to tilt towards negativity which then creates a toxic environment in the body.
God will not be pleased with any amount of money we may offer Him, but is easily pleased with those who are sincere and work hard. In the body, there is no place for dead cells. They are broken down and disposed of by the natural mechanisms in the body. Cells which are constantly working are healthy and such cells are nourished with blood and oxygen. Existence considers us dead if we stop working or become lazy. The body then breaks down through the onset of disease. When we work hard, we are supported by existence. There is a huge amount of untapped energy in the body. Man is a superpower. We can all realize this immense power within us. That power is the living presence of God within. When we work hard we are fed by that power.
Let’s all work hard, contribute to the wellbeing of the world and in the process realize God.
