Swamiji speaking about Birth
Punrapi jananam Punarapi, Maranam, Birth and death are the daily processes of life. When you sleep at night, it is like death and when you wake up it is like birth. So every human experiences birth and death every day.
The soil changes due to water in the same way as human thought changes human beings. For every human action there is a reaction. So the pathway of life is as per the human thoughts.
When a ball is struck at a wall, the ball comes back with a bounce proportional to the impact with which it has been hit to the wall.
Think always positively in life.
Rebirth:
When you plant jackfruit seeds, the plant will grow as jackfruit, not as mango. For example, we should not judge the taste of jackfruit by looking at the shape of it from the outside. We have to see how good the fruit is to eat. In the same way we should look into our lives by experiencing it, not by looking at it from the outside.
A Human Being will be reborn only as a human. In the same way if an animal is to be reborn it will be born as an animal after its death. For illustration, if you put a tree below ground, that original plant will regrow from its seeds.
In this God created world nothing is getting wasted. Everything is used and recycled.
In the same way a child’s activity will be almost similar to the activity of his forefathers and his hereditary.
For the optimal growth of a tree to produce good fruits, it needs good water, good soil, good fertilizer and the sun’s rays,. In the same way, for the best growth of a human being, he needs good water, food, air, sunlight, environment etc. The happiness and sorrow of a human being are solely his responsibility, not God’s.
For a good birth, the karma of the child’s assistors is imprtant, which ultimately dictates the fate of the new born child.
How to get a good child:
1. It is important to have the united thought of both husband and wife. Marriage is not only for entertainment. They have to keep in mind always that they are uniting to contribute to this world.
How to get a good child:
At this point, I would like to give you a briefing on the nadis.
Breathing is nadi. Movement of breath changes from time to time (either throug the left nostril or the right nostril).
The right nostril is Surya nadi (Pingala), left nostril is Chandra nadi (edigala); sushma nadi relates to both nostrils.
To have a male child, at the time of joining, the male should have his breathing through the surya nadi and the female should have her breathing through the Chandra nadi. If this is successful then they will be blessed with a male child.
In this situation both will have good attachment and understanding.
Surya is responsible for the light and heat given to this earth and the moon only give us shade. Land with more sun light will grow faster with good weather.
If the parents plan for a female child, they should join when both of them are taking breath through the Chandra nadi. In this case, occasionally, the child’s health may not be good.
Birth & Death is like a cycle.
Always be kind to human beings; whenever possible, help needy people. For example the passage of water from a tank to a paddy field requires a canal. When the water goes through the canal, grass grows on either side. So the paddy field gets water for its growth and grass around the canal grows as well. But the grass will grow faster than the paddy field. In the same way if you help the needy, the good work carries to the next generation and the work continues. It is like a canal. So the son can lead a good life and the his son (the grandson) also carries a good life.
How the new birth happens:
There are 3 steps in human life, balya, yavana and vrudhapya.
Work is worship.
You can see god every where.
For example Jesus Christ, Mohammed, Paigamber, Shankaracharya, Madhvacharya, Ramanujam, Gautam, Buddha and many known devoted people are humans who are worshipped by human beings. They are accepted and considered as God by their respective communities because of their work.
Good or bad lies within you and it goes as per your thinking and imagination. If you are looking at an object with good thinking it will be good and if you think it is bad it will be bad.
Rebirth is just a transformation of jiva from one person to another. And just as the son looks like his parents he will have similar thoughts, just like the parents.
If you are going to the temple, church or masjid you can decide what you would like to see either in the gopura inside or in the garbhagudi. Outside is knowledge, inside is like money.
Now, I would like to give you below some important points pertaining to Karma-
Karma means work.
Manav is Budhi; jivi-means Human being’s knowledgeable. Out of the millions of creations of God, Human beings are the best species on this earth in all respects.
So it is a must and it is the duty of each human being to deliver good karma’s to this earth. If you want to do something today please do it immediately and not tomorrow.
You should always have good thoughts and the corresponding /matching activities to. This is not time dependent.
If cannot help a needy person, no problem. You can still carry good blessings if you just think good thoughts about the needy .
Do not act badly by taking in bad instructions; it is always better to think before you act and discriminate what is good or bad. For example, from the cow's milk we get butter, ghee, butter milk etc. So it is important to know how to use our own knowledge bank and utilize it in an efficient way.
Do short prayers; if you sit in front of God for a long time it will not yield you. Instead work and contribute something to this world. But do your prayers where ever you are and at any time.
Each second is important in our lives. Once the time goes, we can not get it back.
Even if we contribute from our birth till our death it will not completely fulfil it all of the needs.
We should not quarrel, fight, advise negatively, missguide, destroy anything of value, dwell unnecessarily on disappointments, fight with our spouses or children or have no satisfaction of money.
We should always keep ourselves satisfied with what we have.
We should the World as we treat our relations, because we are one.
We are all sharing the same air, earth, sky, water and fire. No one can be enemies.
When we are born we have not brought any thing, when we die we go without any thing.
Dear friends please live happily because all of us one day will be gone from this earth.
Please always speak good things, think good thoughts, do good deeds, live good lives and give peace to others; this will give you longitivity and good karma, which will be carried to the next generation.
What we are enjoying is the fruits of good karma from our ancestors.
On this earth we have 3 kinds of weathers in a year. During the rainy season water comes to this earth and during the summer season the same water is reabsorbed. So it is like a cycle. Every year water comes to this earth and goes back.
Day or night is not important. What is important is what karma you do every day.
Always think good, smile and help the needy. This will give you longevity.
Practice pranayama
Please work together to help the needy whenever possible, and do not expect anything in return.
World is a maya; without knowledge it is as if we live in a dark house, sitting on a sharp needle, asleep in a fire bed ie. alive but behaving as if dead.
Life is very valuable, and we cannot get anything of better value than our lives.
The soil changes due to water in the same way as human thought changes human beings. For every human action there is a reaction. So the pathway of life is as per the human thoughts.
