All are equal in the eyes of God and Nature.
God is always there for every human being, but humans are selective in thinking about God. In bad times, prayer is sincere and honest. In good times, if at all one prays it is usually superficial. But God continues to bless all equally. There is no concept of revenge or a give and take approach as far as God is concerned.
God has given knowledge in one form or another to everyone, whether rich or poor. How that knowledge is used depends on the individual. If it is used in a proper manner, there is growth and happiness. If it is misused, misery and difficulty will follow.
God in the form of Nature is always cleaning the earth for us. Winds blow away dust and dirt, waves wash beaches clean, and rainwater cleanses the earth. But humans are constantly spreading filth and rubbish everywhere. Much of this finds its way into the oceans and Nature returns that back to us as salt we so crave with the food we eat.
Nothing is lost or wasted in nature. Everything is recycled in one form or another. Forms may change, but the basic energy is retained. This miracle is God. Likewise, humans should not waste anything. Everything will have a use for someone, somewhere, either in the present, or at a future time. Anything that is done or used should be performed with a positive mind. For example, when a coconut tree or any fruit-bearing tree is planted, thinking positively about the growth of the plant will in course of time give a harvest of fruit, coconut, flowers, wood, or even shade from the sun.
In the oceans, there are millions of fish of different colors, shapes, and sizes. Fish live in groups called schools, and they pick different parts of the ocean to live out their lives. The water is the same for all fish, but they live at different depths and some may be in warm water and others may be suited to live in cold water. Nature has provided food for all fish in the ocean. They don’t need to leave the oceans for their food.
Similarly, on land, humans have different colored skin and live in various parts of the world. The air is common to all. There is ample opportunity for all to live, work, and earn. It is our fault if we think there is no job security or food. It may take some effort on our part but it will pay off if we persist.
Just as fish move and migrate from one part of the ocean to another in search of new feeding grounds, humans should also move from place to place. They will be exposed to different knowledge, food, and culture. This will help build obedience, reduce the ego, and will increase respect for all. Some people, for generations, stay in one place. In such people, knowledge does not grow easily. A street dog may act like a tiger on its territory, but its behavior will be entirely different when it enters the territory of another dog. Similarly, if people stay only in one place and develop a certain level of comfort there, it can increase their ego and pride. By going from place to place, interacting with different people, they quickly realize who they are.
There is nothing permanent or fixed on earth. Life while we have it, should be handled very carefully. We should be mindful of how we talk to others and what we say. Just as we are very careful in driving a car in reverse gear, we should be equally careful as we go forward in life. There is no end to life. Always keep trying. If we fail, we should try again and try harder. Along with it, we should always be happy especially when we don’t get what we want. Good and bad are common to all. Everyone experiences them. Just as fish offer benefit to the environment and also become food for humans, we should always be ready to help others. Honest police officers, doctors, scientists, and those who walk the path of truth (Sadh Gurus) are always working for the benefit of the world. We should follow their examples and strive to do our part to make the world a better place.
Blessings to all
