Tips for a happy life
Birth and death are facts of life. Everyone will experience them. We rarely think about death as if it will never happen to us. Consequently, we don’t value time and we become preoccupied with negative thoughts about others. We forget that the reaction to those thoughts will affect our own body. Good health and ill health start with our thoughts. Those who think about the cycle of birth and death on a daily basis will never speak ill about others or cause harm to others. If everyone thinks in this manner, there will be no need for police, courts, judges etc. The world will be a happy place and people will start to live lives filled with gratitude and joy. We have much to be thankful for. God has given us everything, all free of cost and in some cases the gifts are doubled such as two eyes, ears, kidneys etc.
Those who are truly grateful for what has been given to us will say
Whatever money we have is enough
Whatever food we get on a daily basis is a gift
Suffering is welcome, it teaches us much
There is always room to work more and work harder. The one who willingly works is never poor
Even our enemies should prosper
We don’t bring anything and we don’t take anything with us. Everything will have to be left behind. Those who take this to heart will use existing resources very carefully so it is preserved for future generations. Like us, the generations to come will also arrive empty handed eager to enjoy life. If we plunder resources and deplete them, how will they survive and what will they think of us? If we start to think on these lines, individuals, families, communities and nations will be happy for a long time to come.
Blessings to all
