Incident 3 @ Nelamagala:
On a visit to chick maduraiShani Temple and Byrashettyhalli (GaliAnjaneya temple) on a rainy day where mushrooms were sold. We were gazing at a stream of water and surprised to see a snake raising its hood & protecting a frog near it. The frog was green in colour. Ammal retorted this as a holy place where even evil minded persons gets reformed, while returning Ammal found two ten rupees notes which she picked it and brought home. The same night Ammal had a dream in which a small boy predicted that she would buy a property at Byrashettyhalli. Next day morning Ammal informed her husband giving details of her dream. Sri Ponnurangam said that the place was unknown and lacked resources to buy a property at Byrashettyhalli. After 3 months one colleague of Sri Ponnurangam at work placed offered to sell property at Byrashettyhalli through mediators as the same man had accompanied them to the place earlier with meagre earnings of Rs. 30,000/- Ammal decided to purchase the property there by raising differential amount by pledging jewels. Legal advice to sought from aide Sri Balakrishnan was positive. On visiting the spot at sy no 62, an age old small stone sheltered temple existed where local people offered prayers. After the place was bought, the family and Ammal visited the place at night for the next 5 years. On a later visit anti-social element and local rowdy cum real estate agent confronted them and asked them to sell the land or else to get killed. The rowdy who confronted them was told by Ammal that any harm done to them would result in death at the same place. His supporters who descended from the jeep suddenly fell down and were profusely bleeding. To give medical attention to his supporters the notorious rowdy carried them in his nearby hospital and threatened to confront Ammal at a later stage. This gave Ammal and Sri Ponnurangam to escape through an alternative route and return to Bangalore. After this incident the neighbour landlord requested Ammal to sell property which was flatly refused by Ammal, as she believed it to be a sacred place with super natural powers. The landlord went on threatening Ammal and one day his building under construction collapsed leading to heavy losses. He disconnected the power supply transmission line to the land and gave threats. The local priests also joined hands and vehemently threatened Ammal to sell the property and fell all the trees in the property with the support of local people. Ammal told him that he would not live longer as he is troubling god fearing innocents. The priest passed away within 3 months as per prediction by Ammal. A building was constructed to accommodate caretaker from the local colony who defiled the place. Outsiders bought in were also threatened by local people. Sri Ponnurangam through his acquaintance of an IPS officer narrated the incidents that took place and the police took proper action against the trouble mongers but the police authorities refused to file the complaint. Later the nascent truth was revealed as to why the people were troubling. In Sy No 62 Ammal property bought was to the extent of 2 ½ acres, whereas the 3 acres of Govt. land was beside it, which was preyed by local land sharks. As a suit was filed in the civil court the local rowdy was attacked and injured, after some days even his group members were attacked and they lost their lives. As peace returned without threats from the rowdies, Ammal and Sri Ponnurangam regularly visited the place. The idol of lord Ganesha, Gayathri and Guru Bhagwan were installed. The believers flocked in large numbers. A neighbour threatened by dislodging the idol of Lord Gayathri. Ammal cursed that he would not live longer and that after 2 months the rowdy met with his death at an out station location by his detractors. Ammal gave moral support to Sri Ponnurangam saying that divine grace is with them and exhorted Sri Ponnurangam to continue litigating at local court. It was found that the adjoining 3 acres were sold forging the documents. Ammal practices Hatha Yoga with her intuitive power to predict well in advance. Her husband was tutored by her in religious lines wholater learnt the art of intuition and is a practicingastro-numerologist and Ayurvedic medication benefitting a large section of followers at Sri Annapurneshwari temple, in RT nagar. Ammal predicted her death one year well in advance and exhorted her husband to construct a Samadhi at byrashettyhalli and continue all the religious activities. Same as Wednesday except that instead of 3 steps move only 2 steps in the West Direction. As predicted Ammal passed away on Thursday late evening on 14 may 2009, many miracles take place at the Samadhi. Coincidently her birthday, marriage day and death day happens to be Thursday. Ammal preached a simple living. Hard work with sweat & toil is apprrreciated rather than lazy people not working. God can be seen only in times of trouble/problems through prayers.
