The Wealth of India
Throughout the history of India, we have been blessed with so many holy sages, scientists, mathematicians and pioneers, who contributed to the growth of India with their immense wisdom and knowledge. Examples of these men are found in every state - Basavanna in Karnataka, Thiruvalluvar in Tamil Nadu, Vemana in Andhra Pradesh, Adi Shankaracharya in Kerala, Rama in Ayodhya, Ramanujacharya from Srivilliputhur, Dr. Ambedkar from Maharashtra and others including Madhavacharya, Buddha, and Swami Vivekananda.
These men helped shape the country over generations and provided the foundation for the leaders that have governed the land over the course of millennia, ultimately spawning our present Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. Not only was their knowledge deep, but collectively their talent was so broad that it brought a unique power to the country that will live on for the continued growth and prosperity of future generations.
Building any institution whether it is government, housing projects or even a family requires hard-work and sacrifice. The journey to success is paved with challenges that sometimes create side problems. An example is the temple recently built for Lord Rama which was argued with the foundational laws set forth by Dr. Ambedkar nearly 92 years ago. But ultimately once the institution is established a great leader shines a light on the “jewel” he has created.
The knowledge of India is buried deep within its core, entrenched from the hardships of countless great beings throughout its history. Unlike other countries who worship a single holy being, we have the advantage of being able to draw from the bountiful wisdom of so many sages. We are indeed fortunate we have a Prime Minister, who has risen from our sacred foundations. This is the true wealth of the country.
