What we can expect in 2024
Swamiji has made many predictions with great accuracy over the past 20 years. For example, he foretold that a yogi would become the prime minister of India and soon after Mr. Modi was elected to the premiership. Also he predicted years before that mobile payments would arrive in India and sure enough we now see the widespread use of PayTm.
In the life cycle of the earth, every 24-28 years, heralds a 2 year period of calamities enveloping the planet. These include disasters from water and fire, resultant conflicts between people and wars.
Of all the animals on the planet, man is the most intelligent. Yet mankind is responsible for the worst atrocities on earth including murder, theft, rape, jealously and indulgence in temptation. This has occurred due to bad culture in some countries spreading to other parts of the world.
In particular, depletion of the earth’s natural resources will cause more disasters in increasing frequency and intensity.
We can expect:
1. The countries that have economies that primarily rely on the export of oil will face hardship in 2024. With time, floods will ravage these areas, eventually undermining their continued sustainability.
2. The oceans, seas, rivers and lakes will overflow and flood neighboring islands. Island countries especially will be affected. Any town or city next to a water body will also be possibly threatened.
3. The seas will empty their contents into towns and cities. Marine life will wash onto streets.
4. Because of environmental problems, tensions will rise between communities and races. Racial tensions will boil over to the point of major conflicts between opposing races.
5. Lower socioeconomic groups, particularly those who are uneducated will see their basic livelihoods threatened and will also rise up to fight.
6. Because of the multitude of problems facing people, usual pastimes like sports will lose their relevance and athletes and major sporting figures will begin to lose their celebrity and status as people start to lose interest in professional sports.
So what can we do to protect ourselves from the inevitable problems that we will face? Swamiji advises:
1. Pray to God sincerely to shine his light to keep humanity safe
2. Pray for others’ welfare, health and safety as you would for yourself and your loved ones
3. Recognize the importance of all human beings on our common home - Earth
4. Stop unnecessary quarrel and fights with each other
5. Understand that all life is valuable and important
6. Have God mindedness every minute of the day.
Swamiji predicts that all of this will begin from March 2024 onwards. He prays for all of us as we should pray for each other’s safety during these difficult times ahead.
Blessings to all
